Experience behind the numbers
I founded Blackmark Advisory because I believe business owners deserve more than financial reports. They deserve to understand what their numbers mean, how their business is performing, and what they can do to move forward with confidence.
My background spans healthcare leadership, financial analysis, operations, banking, and data analytics. As an executive director in healthcare, I led complex operations and managed budgets and financial performance. I've also owned and operated multiple businesses, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges and decisions business owners face every day.
Today, I work as a Financial/Management Analyst with the City of St. George, where I continue to build on my experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and organizational decision-making. I hold an MBA from Western Governors University, a bachelor's degree in Economics from Utah State University, and professional education in business analytics from the University of Utah.
As a business owner and father of four, I understand that running a business is about more than numbers. It's about building something sustainable, making thoughtful decisions, and creating more time for what matters most.
